Starting Line Program is recognized in
international publication on youth volunteering

The Starting Line program was one of 22 programs selected to be profiled in Innovations in International Youth Volunteering, a publication designed to motivate young people around the world to start volunteer projects that will empower themselves and others.

A dialogue about the Chinese immigrant experience

A group of visitors from Japan who have traveled around the world aboard the Peaceboat will be stopping in New York on July 13-14. We will host them when they visit Chinatown to learn about the immigrant experience. Come join us for a conversation with these visitors to share our experiences about being immigrants in New York.

 

August 2-3 2008

Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York

Our dragon boat team, the CPA Serpents will compete in the 18th Annual Hong Kong Dragon Boat Festival in New York. This takes place at Flushing Meadows Park in Queens. There will also be cultural performances, information tables, arts and crafts.
